My Story
I attended Midwestern University to earn my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree, where I completed three clinical internships, including one at Phoenix Children's Hospital. During my time there, I had the privilege of being mentored by both a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit physical therapist and an Intensive Rehabilitation Facility physical therapist. It was also where I was first introduced to the incredible world of the NICU and had the opportunity to shadow in the Spina Bifida Clinic.
My experience at Phoenix Children’s Hospital deepened my passion for acute care physical therapy and confirmed my desire to work in pediatrics. In January 2022, I began my professional career at UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center as an Acute Care Physical Therapist, specializing in the care of patients within the oncology, pediatrics, and NICU units.
In 2025, I founded Nurturing Touch Physical Therapy in response to the growing need for greater access to specialized infant therapy services. I was especially inspired by the NICU families I worked with who wanted compassionate, comprehensive support for their babies after leaving the hospital. It became clear there was a significant gap in care during those vulnerable early days at home, and I felt called to help bridge it. Today, I’m proud to provide expert, family-centered infant physical therapy services throughout the Ventura County area and beyond. It would be an honor to support your family’s journey.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time at the beach, camping, trying new restaurants, and making memories with my family. I love experiencing new things and feel incredibly grateful to share life with my husband and our toddler son.
